Zane Colvin is the President and Founder of ZAC Solutions.  Prior to starting the company in 2005, Zane worked in business and technology fields building the skills necessary to run a successful company.

Starting at a young age, Zane was introduced to computer sales through a retail sales job at Montgomery Ward.  Working in the electronics department, Zane specialized in computer and audio sales.  Selling the last 386 computers and the first 486 computers, Zane quickly learned about the hardware and software features in computer systems.

Zane continued his career path in retail working for several major computer and electronics retailers.  Awarded multiple times for his sales and customer services accomplishments, Zane was soon promoted to a management position at the age of 20.  He accepted the position of service center manager, tasked with building a new service center in an existing retail location.  Zane soon exceeded everyone's expectations by starting and maintaining one of the few profitable service center locations in the state for that company.  His progress not going unnoticed, Zane was transferred to a larger location and tasked with turning around a struggling service center.  Within two months, the location was not only making a significant profit, but the customer service had improved significantly.

Zane soon had an opportunity to work with a start-up company in the thin-client hardware and software market.  Brought on as a product specialist, Zane was soon given the task of building a server product line, and was expected to not only qualify and manage the hardware, but also work with sales and marketing on pricing and promotion.  Zane was a true team player and helped build the company which was ultimately bought out by a larger company.

Following that experience, Zane took on yet another challenge, to build a commercial data center from the ground up.  As the primary technical resource, Zane worked with several vendors to bring together security, network, monitoring and backup systems to build a highly-scalable, redundant network infrastructure.  After building the network, Zane was promoted to Director of Data Center Operations and oversaw the day-to-day operations of the data center.  In addition, Zane was the primary technical sales resource for many data center and non-data center sales.

Zane is now actively involved in managing ZAC Solutions and is helping clients implement the latest technologies every day.
